Conscience Formation Research K-8

A gift of $500,000 will enable us to build the infrastructure to create the SSI Conscience Formation K-8 infrastructure. The gift will support:

  • Research with 100-300 K-8 teachers doing the SSI Examen
  • Test the effectiveness of curricular elements devised by teachers participating in the ongoing research
  • Review all proposed curricular elements for their harmony with Catholic Faith and Tradition & for their inherent worth in conscience formation
  • Hire and train catechists who will manage the SSI Conscience Formation K-8 program
  • Make available to all K-8 teachers via sacredstory.us a growing curriculum of tested and approved conscience formation ideas and projects that are effective in teaching youth and young adults to hear the voice of God and follow the path to authenticity, freedom and faithful service
  • Manage and support a team of the best K-8 teachers nationwide who are producing the most effective materials
